Between working during the day and getting work done in the new apartment I found 

myself some time to check the sales out. I had my eyes on a couple of these items for a 

while now, and now they're on sale I might get myself something.

Pretty little basics

With this weather I just never know what to wear. It's the middle of June and all 

there is, is rain. It makes it impossible to wear all my summer clothes, but that's 

really all I want to wear right now. It's driving me crazy since the rain doesn't invite 

you to dress up. So I went for a super basic outfit, with pieces that I really like and 

always do the trick for me. Like this t-shirt, I bought it in Paris when I was there 

with my boyfriend so it always brings back nice memories every time I wear it. I 

like the fact that it's a plain t-shirt to anybody else, but that it gives me back some 

of my treasured memories.

New new new

These are a few of my summer essentials. A crisp white short was on my wishlist 

for a very long time, and this one from the H&M conscious collection really suited 

my taste. I had it altered though since high-waist shorts aren't really my thing.

Soft Focus

I had such a relaxing day, you can't believe it. Usually I have to work, but today I had a day off because I have to work all weekend. I went with my boyfriend on a kitchen hunt and we found the perfect one, I'm totally in love with it! 

I did have a minute to take some outfit shots, with my old camera though, so they're not really good but I couldn't resist showing my Style by Marina dress. Ever since I got it, I've been wanting to wear it. It's not really a daytime dress but I thought; what the hell. It's really comfortable and I think you'll going to see my new favorite dress a lot more!

Cravings!

As you might know I'm getting the key to my bf's and mine new apartment in a month, but all I can think about is new clothes to fill my new (bigger!!) closet. 

I know it's bad, and I shouldn't even visit online stores but I just can't resist myself. What is it really, that when you don't have the money to spend everything you see suits your style? And when you have all the money to spend, you can't find anything you like! Well, ok, I've never had that but you get my point.

These are my current cravings and I want them all really bad, but I just have to wait. I mean, I can't even wear any of these items since it's still way too cold (Yes, I'm trying to convince myself. Let's hope it works).

Take me anywhere in seconds

I couldn't be happier with this weeks weather so far! The sun is out, temperature's rising and as you can see I even have bare arms on some of the pictures. It's just for the photo though, cause it's way too cold for bare arms the entire day. 

Also I got some pretty exciting news to share. Me and my boyfriend bought a penthouse together! We already live together in my boyfriends apartment for 2 years now and we really wanted to get something bigger and something that we bought together. 

So we found this gorgeous penthouse in Amsterdam, and we both immediately fell in love with it. I can't believe we signed the contract today and that we'll be living there in a matter of months, it's all so exciting and I can't wait to start decorating the place!

Red shorts and all that jazz

You may recognize these red shorts from one of my recent wish lists. I've been wanting to wear them for a while now but wasn't quiet sure about how to combine them. This is how it turned out and to be honest I really like the combination of the red and blue, don't know if I'm totally satisfied with the shoes.  

But, I'm already thinking bare legs, nice summer blouse and a floppy hat; a combination you will see a lot this summer.

ps; I know my roof terrace isn't the most gorgeous setting, but with my schedule right now I have no other choice.

Pop that color!

After such a cold, dark winter all I can think about is spring. I desperately need some bright colors in my wardrobe and these items would all fit perfectly.

Wishlist

When I'm bored I always find myself cruising over the internet, trying to find the next great addition to my wardrobe. Some of the items above are on my long-term wishlist and some of them will be on my way pretty soon. 

While I'm drooling over these items, I do have to remind myself I'm on a shopping diet (sort of) because I want to go to New York in the summer. You can only spend your money once, unfortunately!

Simplicity

While it's pouring rain outside, I'm safe inside with a nice drink and delicious food. I find it very hard to take some good outfit photos while the weather is coming down like crazy so I stayed inside instead. 

I really like this minimal look, it doesn't need much and it's super comfortable!

Honestly, I can not wait for spring to start! I've had enough of rain, snow and not to mention the cold. I can see myself wearing the navy tank top with a short and those cute shoes. 

All I need to finish the look is a cool hat like Clemence is wearing, but I can't seem to find it anywhere! Can somebody tell me where to find a hat like that in that color or in navy?
