As some of you may know, me and my boyfriend bought an apartment together last summer. It is actually a big milestone, my first house! I thought it would be nice to share some details, the last time I showed picture the house looked like this. Can you believe the difference?

We worked so hard on this apartment to make it our dream home and it is not even close to being finished, but there are already spots in the apartment that I really really love.

All things metallic

Some trends that come along, aren't my cup of tea right away. The same with the metallic trend. When I saw the first metallic items I never could imagine myself wearing any of it. Until I got my Zara scarf. All of the sudden I started looking for metallic items everywhere and lucky for me the trend is still here this winter. Like it waited for me to come around. 

All I want to do know, is find the perfect metallic knit, like the sweater above from Rag & Bone. It's just pure love.

Interior inspiration

This summer my boyfriend and I moved in to our new apartment, as some of you may know. It’s actually the first time I get to do the decorating from scratch. It’s really fun of course, but also really hard.

I mean, with clothes you can pick a new outfit everyday but with decorating you have to pick things that will last a lot longer than one day.

Inspiration, it's in the details

In each of these pictures there are one or more pretty details that give an outfit just that little extra. I love to stare at pictures with lots of detailing, discovering them one by one and finding them extremely inspirational.

You might get the feeling that it's the same girl in most of the pictures. That's because it is. I currently have a huge girl crush on Clémence Poésy, so I thought I'd share some of my favorite pictures. And some other inspiration pics as well.

Inspiration

I wanted to make some outfit pictures today, but since my outfit is my pj's because I have a terrible cold I thought it wasn't a good idea to even leave the house. Let alone post the outfit online. 

So instead of an outfit post I went trough my inspiration folder to inspire you the way I get inspired by seeing these pictures. 

These pictures all tell a different story about sadness, loneliness and darkness. I always find myself being more inspired by pictures that tell a sad story than by pictures that tell a happy story.
