A day in the city

Yesterday my mom and little brother came to Amsterdam for two days. Friday I had to work, so I only saw them in the evening, but today we went downtown and did some sightseeing. My brother forced us to go to the fair on Dam square and I went with him on this scary giant's stride. It goes freakishly high up in the air, but we had an amazing view in return.

new new new

A double-finger-cross-ring was pretty long on my wishlist and after searching the internet for months and months I finally I'm able to wear this beauty on my fingers. I must admit, I had to get used to the feeling of my fingers sticking together, but it's worth it.

I'm also really happy with my new Mango bag. It's not very useful since only my wallet, keys and some lipsticks fit in, but it's so pretty I'll have to deal with that.

 As much as I'm a sucker for chunky rings and bracelets, I also appriciate the small and cute ones. These 3 from net-a-porter are defenitely in the top 10 of my wishlist. When the sale starts I will be ready to click-and-buy!

Black Track

Normally I'm all about shorter dresses, skirts and shorts but I'm actually loving the maxi trend that's going on. I also wanted to give the 'new-lenght' a try and I must say; I really like it! 

I think this look would also be great with bare legs, but it just was too cold and rainy.

Cup of Tea

Today fall really kicked in here in Amsterdam. Me and my boyfriend went gift shopping for a friend and it was so cold! I don't know if I can handle the temperature dropping so soon. On the other side, it was the perfect opportunity to wear my new 'flying birds' jumper. 

Immediately when we got home, I put on my warm socks and got on the couch with a hot cup of tea and the new Grazia.

Easy like a sunday

I've been enjoying this weekend in the best way possible. The sun is shining, I've walked around the city with my boyfriend and at saturday night we went out with some friends. We ate at an Italian restaurant called ' Casa di David', and o my god, it was so delicious!  

Today I'm in a relaxing mode, which means staying in bed until noon, making some sandwiches and watching the newest episode of Gossip Girl with a bucket of Ben&Jerry's Cookie Dough.

Camel caught me

I had a wonderful day today. It was sunday, the sun was shining, I had a divine facial at Rob Peetom (as you can see on the no-make-up-photos), I did a little shopping and I'm feeling all better. 

I love lazy sundays, especially when the sun is shining. I had this amazing facial at Rob Peetom, they first cleaned my face, then a peeling and after that a relaxing mask. I felt so relaxed after that!

I also bought the new Jackie magazine. When a magazine has the text 'Fashion Issue' on it, I immediately want to have it (and I fell in love with the Lanvin leopard print dress on the cover).
