Cravings!

As you might know I'm getting the key to my bf's and mine new apartment in a month, but all I can think about is new clothes to fill my new (bigger!!) closet. 

I know it's bad, and I shouldn't even visit online stores but I just can't resist myself. What is it really, that when you don't have the money to spend everything you see suits your style? And when you have all the money to spend, you can't find anything you like! Well, ok, I've never had that but you get my point.

These are my current cravings and I want them all really bad, but I just have to wait. I mean, I can't even wear any of these items since it's still way too cold (Yes, I'm trying to convince myself. Let's hope it works).

Blonde pasta

As I promised here's the recipe of yesterday's food experiment, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. It's really easy to make, and of course you can add spices and vegetables to it, so it'll suit your personal taste.

What you need:

- 2 tablespoons of oil

- 1 tablespoon of cream

- 1 tablespoon of pesto (I used pesto melanzane) 

- 1 small onion

- Any type of pasta (I used farfalle)

- Tomatoes (I used 5 small tomatoes)

- 1 Mozzarella cheese

- A good amount of peeled giant shrimps 

- 1 baking dish

What do you have to do:

Step 1: Pre-heat the oven at 180 degrees

Step 2: Cook the pasta like usual in boiling water

Step 3: Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella in pieces 

Step 4: Fry the slices tomatoes in a pan with the small onion

Step 5: Mix the giant shrimps with the tomatoes, union, pesto and the slices mozzarella in the baking dish

Step 6: Put the pasta on top of 'step 4' and  sprinkle the cream and a oil on top of it

Step 7: Put the whole thing in the oven for 15 minutes

Step 8: ENJOY!!

Just some shots of yesterday's outfit. I was really hoping for the sun to come out, but it didn't. Luckily it did today, so I sat outside for a while with a glass of wine and a magazine.

I just finished eating, I was cooking kind of an experiment and it turned out so good I really want to put the recipe on paper so I can share it with you guys. So stay tuned!

Red jeans and a bright sky

Once again I spend my saturday with my mom and my brother, this time we had a super short visit to Den Bosch before heading to my cousins birthday. The weather was absolutely perfect to take some outfit shots. 

I was wearing my new bright colored jeans, it's actually more orange/red but it doesn't really translate well in the pictures. I never thought I'd be wearing something so colorful but once I tried the jeans on, I was sold. I really love the color and I'm making all kinds of combinations in my head so I think you'll be seeing a lot more of this jeans!

Looks so good I might die

I never knew it was so hard to decorate an entire apartment. So many styles and so many great looking items. My inspiration folder makes overtime and I hope it'll help me decide how to decorate.

Best friend, I see you in the end

Kind of a picture overload, but I couldn't make a choice since all of these pictures show how much fun I had with my mom and little brother. 

My little brother's became one of my regularly photographers and I really like it, I keep dreaming he's going to be the next Mario Testino lol. He's only 15 and still lives with my mom, so I don't get to see him as much as I want to. When I still lived at home we had the best time, of course we argued like every siblings do but we always got along so well. 

When me and my boyfriend move to our new apartment, we'll have more space for guests to stay over and that will include my brother. Can't wait to play hide and seek in the ginormous penthouse! (lol, it's not thát big)

New in!

To me the 5 piece French Wardrobe isn't about getting the most expensive basics or about super extraordinary items that will stand out from the crowd. I'm looking for affordable pieces that perfectly suit my style and wishes.

As you know I'm about to move to another apartment and to be honest I want to spend my money on furniture and a gorgeous wooden floor. It's really strange to hear myself even think that, but it's just what's important to me right now. 

I hope I'm not going to bore you to death with moving stories and furniture moodboards, so here are some of my latest (clothing) buys to make it up to you in advance.

I couldn't be happier with this weeks weather so far! The sun is out, temperature's rising and as you can see I even have bare arms on some of the pictures. It's just for the photo though, cause it's way too cold for bare arms the entire day. 

Also I got some pretty exciting news to share. Me and my boyfriend bought a penthouse together! We already live together in my boyfriends apartment for 2 years now and we really wanted to get something bigger and something that we bought together. 

So we found this gorgeous penthouse in Amsterdam, and we both immediately fell in love with it. I can't believe we signed the contract today and that we'll be living there in a matter of months, it's all so exciting and I can't wait to start decorating the place!
